North American Pre-Field Missionary Candidates

Eligibility

• Graduation from an accredited four-year college/university or equivalent (BA degree).

• Preparing for a career as a missionary outside of North America.

Awards
Awards for pre-field candidates are applied toward tuition costs. Awards are given on a loan/scholarship basis, with 25% forgiven for each year served overseas following completion of MA studies; otherwise loan repayment of both principal and interest is required. Applicants also may be eligible for other financial aid from the college. Completion of the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) questionnaire and the Wheaton College Institutional Financial Aid form are required.

Application
Scholarship applications are processed twice each year. Applications must be submitted by March 1 for the fall term and September 15 for the spring term. It is recommended that scholarship applications be submitted at the same time as admission forms for the Wheaton Graduate School. Materials are not interchangeable.
