Eligibility

  • Graduation from an accredited four-year college/university or equivalent (BA degree).
  • Especially for those of ethnic minority backgrounds.
  • Completion of at least two years of full-time urban ministry with a recognized mission organization or denomination.
  • Committed to returning to urban ministry following MA studies at Wheaton.

Awards
Awards are full-tuition grants. They are given on a loan/scholarship basis with 25% forgiven for each year of ministry following completion of MA studies; otherwise loan repayment of both the principal and interest is required.

Application
Scholarship applications are processed throughout the year with suggested deadlines of March 1 for the fall term and September 15th for the spring term. It is recommended that scholarship applications be submitted at the same time as admissions forms for the Wheaton Graduate School. Materials are not interchangeable.
